I think it is a good opportunitites. Films and especially fictional stories often communicate stronger to me than hearing facts spoken. I was thinking it is important to link contributions together and be good with branding stuff with keywords or something. That would help us find the little gold nuggets in stead of them being lost it in the myriads of contributions.

I think the problem with this being the future of tv is the fact how does the creator get money, they could get a cut of advertising but with so many creators the cut of the money would be very small. Meaning no one could make television full time. Also unlike conventional broadcasting where the cost are the same whether there is one viewer or 12,000,000 with the internet there are bandwidth bills and as you get more viewers the cost go up. This also doesn’t take into account net neutrality and the fact that the ISP were trying to demand money of the BBC over their iplayer.
