Blog Writing From An iPhone which is another Printing Press
The phone rang and the voice on the other end said "it's finished- completed It was Rae telling me she had completed the Church promotional video. The truth is we've been trying to do this for months on end but other things have come in the way. However Rae was determined that I would see the finished work and sign it off.
It's all part of out Stewardship Campaign. We've never asked the church members to increase their giving since 2003 so the finance group thought it was about time. The wonderful thing is that we have never had a deficit in 30 years. There have been times when we've been pretty close but God has always supplied our every need.
I don't think we should have lots of money in the church funds anyway. I think we should have enough for what we need and be willing to trust that God will supply the money for the vision. We certainly could do with an increase in giving to allow us us to begin to make some changes to the building but hey that's for another day. Anyway I'm practicing blog writing from my iPhone and hoping that I will be able to include some pictures In my post. Make a point of going to the church website and watching the video. I think its turned out pretty good.

Talking about the iPhone makes me think of William Tyndale who contributed so much to the King James version of the Bible. It was thanks to Tyndale and his interest in technology and the printing press that the Bible was printed into English. It was his tramnslations that influenced the later translators who produced the King James version. Next year will be 400th Anniversary of a project which eventually made it possible for the Bible to be in the hand of everyone. It is the same today everyone who has a mobile phone has the option of downloading a version of the Bible through an App.

So what can an iphone do? Well it can tell you the time, it can send your emails, you can use it to write blogs. You can use it to make short videos. you can text with it. you can take photographs. The fact is that there are thjousands of Apps you can download. So the above viodeo was taken with my iphone earlier on this evening.
