Lilias is One In A Million!

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tru282jHaZQ[/youtube]Lilias Snedden one of our youth workers at St Andrew's here in Bo'ness got a huge surprise last night when she discovered that she had been nominated to STVs One Show as a " One in a Million Champion " The Friday Night youth Cafe welcome STV presenter Michelle McManus who was greatly impressed by the quality of work that is being carried out by Lilias and her amazing team of youth workers. Lillias recently completed her BA in Theology and Youth Work from ICC in Glasgow. Over the years has been developing some excellent partnerships in the community highlighting the fact that the church for many has become the catalyst that is helping to bring about change in our community. Lilias is part of a dynamic team that is working out of St Andrew's Bo'ness connecting with children,teens and young adults and also connecting with older members of the community who are experiencing memory loss. Lilias will be appearing on the show this Monday between 5pm-6pm so make sure you tune in. Recently " Sanctus Media " the not for profit media company that works out of the church building had a great deal of publicity for their excellent documentary on the history of coal mining in Bo'ness. The Film was shown in the town's refurbished historic Hippodrome Cinema last week. The Hippodrome has the distinction of being one of the oldest working Cinema's in the UK.
