Sanctuary First @ Clairemont East Kilbride
We had a geat turn out at the Sanctuary First Service in east kilbride tonight well over 120 people turnrd up to take part in the 'Cross Shape Space. This service has once again proved to have a unique significance for ll who attend.
One man came up at the end of the service and said it had made him think about his faith ina different way. He continued saying that often in church he didn't feel challenged and stretched. It was the opportunity to be in silence and to engage in the workshops and experience the meditation on the MP3 players that for him was unique and though provoking. Others were touched by the experience of moving through the cross shaped space and encountering a profound worship experience. The teaching on the Holy Spirit for another man was so liberating and encouraging. In all i think the service was well received. A huge thank you to the fantastic team from Bo'ness who helped to put the whole thing together.
Talking about Sanctuary First the next service is on in Bo'ness next sunday at 6.30pm. the teme we're looking at is entitled " Guard the Good."
