We're Planning a Church Without Walls Week

At last after nearly a month of sorting out the issues in my study I'll soon be back to normal again and begin to start writing a bit more regularly on the blog again. One of the things that has been taking up my energy apart from all the painting and rearranging of book shelves, is the planning that we're starting to do for our Church without Walls Open Week. We hope to be able to attract people who walk past our church daily to come in and see some of the work we are doing. The plan is to turn the church itself into an exhibition centre for a week but we want the church building to speak about faith and fellowship so we're trying to find ways to build an exhibition around the church rather than put the church around the exhibition. I think its going to be an amazing week. we wil be inviting our funders and also the local dignitaries and politicans. the neighbours are also going to get an invitation to come along to a special evening with coffee and hot chocolate and really nice pastries. Oh and we're going to have a talent show and an Alpha taster. We will also be inviting all the schools to come down and look around the church during that week. then we've got a visiting speakers and we've even arranged a Jazz evening. how cool is that? So keep your ears to the ground and make sure you pay us a visit that week starting Sunday 26th September - Sunday 3 October.
