Things have been pretty busy since I wrote my last post. Being busy has included my visit to London to talk to the joint army navy and air force Chaplains about a proposed CWW Tattoo. Now how brilliant would that be? Anyway its under discussion. Moving on, we had a great evening last Friday at the Ceilidh here in Bo'ness. I think we raised over £900.00 for our church partners in India. Saturday was a chance to catch up with Ian Ferguson who has just completed his...

structure.JPG This is a crucial time for the Church Without Walls idea, or movement as some are calling it. We need to keep our focus as we continue to plan the national CWW Event in 2008. I like the clever way that Bono has personified the idea of grace. It is a very biblical idea to take a Godly characteristic and express it through a human being. I think that is what it means when Paul writes, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself. Anyway I'm including this piece in the section...

Church without Walls Conference Aviemore 2007

dscf0571.jpg just spent the last few days at the MacDonald Highland Resort. I think it must be the best place in Scotland if you want to hold hold a residential event for 400 or 500 people. Church without Walls is the Church of Scotland's flagship project when it comes to talking about renewal of the church. I guess its the equivalent of the Church of England's "Fresh Expressions" This was an opportunity for church leaders to feel valued and supported. they had come to be...
