Every year we try to make something of Christmas. I especially like to do something at Advent to help everyone start to prepare for Christmas. This year is no exception. We've got a group together who call themselves the Advent Angels. They have been working on a number of ideas. Lord today was glorious
And I just loved the view
The soft sunlight has
given us all a rich warm glow.
Your world is quite spectacular.
The colour scheme is breath - taking
When the sun shines,
it seems to bring out the best in everyone
People actually talk to each other
The TV gets turned off
And people go for walks.
Lord I just love this view looking over our town.
It calls from within me a prayer

Looking out the window.
The view is always changing.
Keeping focus isn't all that easy
There are so many distractions on the way.
Its sometimes hard to keep my eye on you.
I don't want to look elsewhere
but there are so many voices,
different offers -
Discipleship diversions
I call them.
I know the wrong relationships will hold me back,
but sometimes it is so appealing,
just for once to think about myself,
my dreams
my life.

I saw you were busy with some beginners last night.
I think you were talking to them about basic stuff.

basic discipleship.
They looked like children
I joined the group for a little while
I was standing on the edge of the circle.
I didn't expect you to notice me
I listened in for a short time.
