Pay it forward
No one knows what a day will bring forth. Yesterday morning I was up early reading through the sermon that I was going to give that morning in St James' Portobello. I was in a hurry as I loaded the car and reversed out of the space. While in the process of moving the car I scraped the door of a parked car. Well you know how you feel when something like this happens. Your embarrassed and also upset that you have damaged someone else's property.

We've had a really busy few days. Our London visit went exceeding well. The Service at Paul's was an historic occasion and it was a real privilege to represent the Church of Scotland. I'm on the East Coast rail line heading for King's Cross . It is quite a scenic route. The views are stunning. Tomorrow will be a splendid day full of colour and pageantry. What a magnificent event to be celebrating. I'm really feeling quite privileged to be Moderator at this time.
