Recently you may have picked up on the news that the Vatican have forgiven John Lennon for the comments he made as a young man about Jesus. He said that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. I want to say a huge thank you to all those who took part in the service this evening. Everyone from the worship leaders to the technical support staff did a brilliant job. The actors who performed the various bits of drama where excellent. So well done everyone.

I've just finished writing the blurb on the Christmas card that we send round our Parish. In it I'm suggesting that we could all do with a minimalist Christmas. By this I mean unplugging all the light pollution that goes with Christmas so that we can see the real star.
