Here's italker on the extreme right, standing next to Peter Hall, with the site foreman on Peter's immediate right. Now on the extreme left is Willie McPherson the CEO of Vine Trust. Now the question is what is Willie thinking? And the question is whose hard hat and boiler suit is it that is laying over the petition?

It was all go today. Willie McPherson and myself were up sharp at 5.00am to catch the early flight from Gatwick to Gibralter. We were met by fellow Church of Scotland minister, Ewen McLean who took us to our hotel and then arranged for us to meet some of the local clergy. Ewen is one of a number of people in Gibralter who will be helping us with our mission. We're in Gibralter to seek to find support to help the Vine Trust raise enough money to refurbish our third ship...

Everything happens in God's time. I locked the door of the church last night and handed the congregation over to the leadership of my good friend Peter Neilson. What a great day of celebration Sunday turned out to be. First of all it was wonderful to have Elisa back again on the keyboards and Jimmy and Ian back to help with the worship. We are blessed with our current worship group Graeme Trudie and Craig however having some additional musicians added to the excitement...

I'm pretty cheesed off today. Well I had a pretty good day until I was told that BBC Scotland intend to axe the Saturday morning Janice Forsyth Show. It fits into your hand almost like a glove. "I made it for you to carry in your pocket" my friend said as he pressed it into my hand.
I know its only a piece of wood, I know it has no magical powers but its a...

There I was standing in Waverley Station this morning waiting for SJ to arrive. This was a father and son outing. It was breakfast first then off to New College for a seminar on ' Does the Church Need Theology?" One thing I needed this morning was breakfast, We were surprised how many cafes were closed. We finally got one open on King George 1V Bridge. It was actually a good plate of scrambled eggs. So it was off to new college to see if my brain was scrambled. I guess...

I guess my role as a the parish minister is a bit ubiquitous. One week I'm in Peru talking to health specialist and social workers about how to improve the lot of Street Children or exploring with others how the ships in the Amazon can be used to help save a Tribe known as the Matses from extinction. Finding the money to keep all this work going can be to say the least a bit daunting. It's when you come home and hear people argue about their worth gauging it in terms...
